Anyone else having issues posting comments on Jalop articles?

It seems like today, they are running some crap that by the time you get down to the comments, a bunch of RAM and CPU resources are getting sucked up and it causes the commenting to time out.

And on my iPhone, it’s causing the browser to crash and having to reload the page semi regularly.

Anyone else experiencing this?

nope...working fine on my pc..well..as fine as kinja ever works

main issue i keep running into with jalopnik is that theres no posts  worth commenting on

I like the way they autoplay their shitty vids and make them scroll and cover they story I'm trying to read. Android/chrome

it’s fine on the desktop, but running badly on my older phones. Browser not playing nice with whatever code they have running in the background.

They must be only testing it, on WiFi, with a 128GB phone and a single browser.

Yes. I’m on a Pixel 3XL [way too much, I must add], and it’s annoying. BUT I will happily deal with this over the last couple of weeks with not being able to fully use the “3 dots ” functions.

The ads are brutal, especially on longer posts.

My fan will kick on on my laptop, and my phone will get crazy hot.

Honestly can’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet...

Yes, doesn’t work on mobile at all, but works on desk-top fine.
